On the way back to school. I'm so proud of Victoria, she ran the whole 2km and came in 131 out of about 400 girls....way to go Victoria!!

Trip to Valleyview Farm....I joined Ben's class for a field tripFeeding the animals

This boy was a real handful...I thought for sure he was going to fall out of the train (he's lucky he's so cute)!

Here's my group of kids for the day (luckily that's not one of mine escaping in the background). We're in the corn maze and it was really hard to keep an eye on the boy with the blue hat...notice how the other boys are holding him in this pic so we wouldn't run away

We decided to go for a nice leisurely walk in Gatineau park

The kids had a PD day so we went glow in the dark mini putting. I had a fun time using the night setting on my camera....i'm pleased with the results (check out the cool glow in the dark bracelets we got)

The kids were amazed at the sunset and wanted me to take a picture of the sky. Ben kept yelling, the sky looks like a rainbow!Here's Victoria checking out the view. When I get a chance, i'm going to play around with this picture in photoshop and turn Victoria black and white but keep the backgroud colour

Paul taught Ben to ride his bike without training wheels today. I can't believe how fast he learnt! I was out of the house for a few hours then when I came back Ben could ride without training wheels, skid on his brakes and zoom around the block beating everyone. My little baby sure is growing up fast!

He's on Victoria's old bike but I guess we can take the training wheels off his bike now so he doesn't have to ride around on a purple bike with pretty ribbons :)

Now that Ben is in school fulltime, I would like to get back into my hobby of taking photographs. I'm going to try posting pictures as often as possible to see how I progress over the year. Please feel free to give me any feedback. For the moment, I just have a point and shoot Canon camera (that's starting to die) but as soon as I save up a bit of money i'm going to buy myself a nice digital SLR....I can't wait. I'm still trying to decide on a Canon or Nikon but i think i'm leaning more towards a Canon. Here's a picture of Victoria. We had some friends over for dinner that have a little girl and she wanted to play dress up. Victoria wanted to get in on the action and put one of her princess dresses on that is much to small for her now...it was so cute that i had to take a picture. Check out how short the dress is on her arms and legs. check out this picture of Victoria in the same dress 4 years ago...i can't believe how much she has grown! The dress used to drag on the floor
